According to China Bus Network, on November 16, 2024, the 31st APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting was held in Lima, the capital of Peru.
Local Chinese and overseas Chinese in Peru spontaneously gathered on both sides of the road, waving the national flags of China and Peru, beating gongs and drums, and dancing dragons and lions to warmly welcome the important Chinese guests.
The chartered bus that many of them took was a clean energy bus from China - a high-end Suzhou King Long Higer bus specially designed to serve the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) meeting in Peru.
In addition, during the meeting, Higer Bus also took on the commuting mission of Air China crew members in Peru.
Since Suzhou Jinlong Higer Bus realized exports in the Peruvian market in 2006, it has been sold in Peru for 18 consecutive years.
As of June this year, more than 1,000 buses have been exported to Peru, with a cumulative amount of nearly 40 million US dollars.
Higer is a well-known Chinese bus brand in the Peruvian market and also the Chinese brand with the highest market share in the tourist passenger transport and shuttle bus sectors.
