Highlights of Sale Data of Dec. 2024
1. BYD Auto continues to lead:
BYD Auto's sales in December 2024 reached 403,075 units, a year-on-year increase of 34.30%, with a market share of 15.30%.
This shows that BYD's leadership in the overall automobile market has been further consolidated and its products and technologies continue to be widely recognized by the market.
2. Chery Auto and Geely Auto have achieved significant growth:
Chery Automobile and Geely Auto sold 199,467 and 185,528 units respectively in December 2024, with both achieving significant sales growth and showing strong momentum in the market.
3. Sales volume of some traditional manufacturers has declined:
FAW-Volkswagen's sales in December 2024 were 160,579 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 24.80%, and its market share was 6.10%. FAW-Volkswagen's sales volume has dropped significantly and it faces certain market challenges.
SAIC Volkswagen's sales in December 2024 were 151,109 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 2.80%, and its market share was 5.70%. Although SAIC Volkswagen's sales growth was relatively low, it still maintained a certain market share.
