Highlights of Sale Data of Dec. 2024:
1. BYD Auto continues to lead:
BYD Auto achieved sales of 403,075 units in December, a year-on-year increase of 34.30%, with a market share of 31.00%.
This shows that BYD's leadership in the new energy vehicle market has been further consolidated and its products and technologies continue to be widely recognized by the market.
2. Geely Auto and Chery Auto grow rapidly:
Geely Auto and Chery Automobile saw very significant sales growth in December, showing their strong momentum in the new energy vehicle market.
3. Tesla's growth in China slows down:
Tesla China's sales in December 2024 were 82,927 vehicles. Tesla's growth rate was relatively low, but it still maintained a high market share.
5. GAC Aion's sales volume declined:
GAC Aion's sales volume in December 2024 was 36,149 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 17.80%, and its market share was 2.80%.
GAC Aion is the only manufacturer on the list with declining sales and faces certain market challenges.
