Highlights of Sale Data of Jan-Nov 2024:
1. BYD Auto maintains its leading position:
Cumulative sales from January to November were 3,315,206 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%, and the market share was 16.4%.
BYD performed well in both the new energy market and the overall market, continuing to maintain its leading position.
2. Geely Auto and Chery Auto grew significantly:
Geely Auto’s cumulative sales from January to November were 1,587,723 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 26.1%, and its market share was 7.8%.
Chery Auto's cumulative sales from January to November were 1,135,738 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 62.5%, and its market share was 5.6%.
Both manufacturers have shown strong growth momentum in the traditional fuel vehicle and new energy vehicle markets.
3. The sales of some traditional brands have declined:
Traditional brands such as FAW-Volkswagen, Changan Auto, GAC Toyota, and Dongfeng Nissan are facing challenges in market competition, and their sales have declined to varying degrees.
4. New energy brands perform well:
Although the sales of some traditional brands have declined, new energy brands such as BYD and Geely Auto still perform well in the overall market.
Overall, new energy vehicle brands continue to see strong growth, especially BYD and Geely Auto. Traditional fuel vehicle brands such as FAW-Volkswagen, Changan Auto, GAC Toyota and Dongfeng Nissan are facing the challenge of declining sales and need to further adjust their strategies to cope with market competition.
